AIMA pairs the app with a lightweight server that does the heavy lifting, so your phone stays fast:

Instant push notifications — new mail reaches you in seconds, even when the app is closed.
Your whole mailbox, on your phone — older mail is synced gradually in the background, so the inbox opens fast and you can scroll through everything.
Link & sender safety (Verify) — on request, links in a message are checked against Google Safe Browsing for malware/phishing, and sender authentication (SPF/DKIM/DMARC) is summarized.
Consistent across devices — read, starred and other changes are kept in sync wherever you open AIMA.
On-device translation — read messages in your language, translated right on your phone.
AI spam detection — a server-side model, trained on real predatory & junk mail, scores incoming messages and flags suspected spam. You choose per account: a badge in the inbox, automatic move to Spam, or off — plus a sensitivity level.

AI, and getting smarter: AIMA's spam detection is live — a server-side model flags predatory and junk mail, learns from your feedback (mark spam / not spam), and runs entirely on our backend (your mail is never sent to a third-party AI service). More intelligent assistance is on the way.

Privacy by design

Email content (subjects, previews, bodies) and your account passwords are encrypted at rest; data travels over HTTPS.
Message bodies are cached for at most 30 days, then deleted and re-fetched on demand.
Attachment file contents are never stored on our servers.
Your data is used only to provide the app's features — never sold, never used for ads.

AIMA connects to your accounts over standard IMAP/SMTP (for Gmail, with an app-specific password) — it does not use the Gmail API. Read the full Privacy Policy or request data deletion.
